Presentation by Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky: Overview of Westside Transit Issues including Exposition to Santa Monica, Above Grade Separation at Washington/National and the Red Line Extension. Discussion of Regional Homeless Concerns. Open Discussion.

(B) Report and Recommendations from Westside Cities COG Transportation Sub-Committee.

Preliminary discussion of advocacy regarding regional homeless solutions including potential use of the VA property and proceeds from Proposition 63 funding for mental health services. Consideration of proposed Homeless Resolution. Formation of COG Subcommittee on regional homeless solutions.

(D) Economic Health – Brief update on the State Budget. League of California Cities Report.

(E) League of California Cities Executive Sub-committee: Review of tentative housing policy goals.
