Recommendation from Transportation Committee that 1) the COG send a letter to Metro supporting expedient resolution of matters on Expo Phase I and expressing continued support to Expo Phase II, and 2) Authorize the COG chair or designee and staff to take steps necessary to demonstrate COG support when Expo is before the CPUC.
   
   
   2. June Meeting Notes, Report and Recommendations from the COG Committee on Sustainability and Related Items
      
      
      1. Recommendation from the Sustainability Committee that the COG governing board adopt the set of four Ahwahnee Principles for Resource-Efficient and Livable Communities:
         1. The Ahwahnee Principles for Climate Change;
         2. The Ahwahnee Water Principles for Resource-Efficient Land Use;
         3. Ahwahee Principles for Resource-Efficient Communities; and,
         4. Ahwahnee Principles for Economic Development,
         and recommend adoption by each member jurisdiction.
   
   
   3. June Meeting Notes, Report and Recommendations from the COG Homeless Issues Committee and Related Items
      
      
      1. Recommending from the Homeless Issues Committee that the COG governing board 1) proactively pursue with the State if the armories can be allocated for use by the Winter Shelter program at a reduced or no cost, and 2) give authority to staff begin lobbying which will include getting lobbyists involved.
