Culver City releases proposals for housing feasibility studies
As part of the Culver City’s implementation efforts to address homelessness, the City released three request for proposals in September 2018 for the following studies:
Temporary shelter services feasibility study to identify potential sites, planning criteria, cost estimates and implementation measures to provide homeless temporary seasonal shelter services in Culver City
Motel reuse feasibility study to develop affordable housing
Manufactured and modular housing feasibility study to develop affordable housing on public property in select areas of the City https://www.culvercity.org/Home/Components/RFP/RFP/1237/373
Increasing affordable housing development in the Westside is a key strategy in decreasing and preventing homelessness in the region.
